In order to ensure that the investors have unrestricted access to AMC's and to enable AMC's to provide prompt investor service including execution of investors financial or non financial transactions, the Securities & Exchange Board of India through its circular CIR/IMD/DF/9/2010 dated August 12th, 2010 has directed all mutual funds/AMC's to open new folios/accounts only after ensuring that all investor related documents including account opening documents, PAN, KYC, POA(if applicable), specimen signature are available with AMC's /RTA's.
For existing folios, AMC's are required to update the investor related documents, account opening documents, PAN, KYC, POA(if applicable), specimen signature by November 15, 2010.
You are therefore requested to kindly update the PAN copy image & the KYC letters in our records.

As per the AMFI Circular 35/MEM-COR/54/10-11, dated August 16th, 2010 KYC will be mandatory for investors coming through Channel Distributors irrespective of the amount of investment with effect from October 01, 2010.
In case the KYC document has not been submitted & an MF order has been placed such transactions will not get processed and amount will be refunded.
