Eligibility and Documentation
All Non Resident Indians except those from United States of America can open an online trading account with us.
Currently Reliance Money has tied up with Axis Bank for providing NRI services under the PIS. The customer will have to open a Bank account with Axis bank and also execute necessary PIS documentation.
Requirements for opening an NRI account are as follows:
- Passport copy (required for all holders i.e. first & joint)
- Valid Visa copy / local residency copy (Visitor visa & business visa are not permitted as valid proof)
- PAN card copy (required for all holders)
- Foreign address proof (required for all holders)
- Indian address proof (if any, for all holders)
- In the case of an NRI A/c without repatriation feature, proof of Indian address is compulsory.
- PIS bank account & Approval letter copy of Axis Bank is required
- Declaration of non solicitation
- In case of proof documents which are available in any language other than English, for example in Kuwait the Rent agreement and Driving license are issued in Arabic language, In such cases the applicant needs to attach the same with relevant translation in English which is duly signed and attested by an Indian Embassy or Consulate general official.
