Il&Fs; Engineering And Construction Company Limited has informed the Exchange that subject to the approval of shareholders of the Company, the Board of Directors of the Company have approved the issue of following Bonus Shares to Preference Shareholders: (i) 15,00,000 Cumulative Redeemable Preference Shares (CRPS) of Rs. 100/- each as Bonus Shares to the existing Optionally Convertible Cumulative Redeemable Preference Shareholders (OCCRPS) of the Company in the ratio of 1:16.67 (i.e. One fully paid Bonus CRPS of Rs. 100/- each for every 16.67 OCCRPS held) as on June 30, 2011 being the record date; and (ii) 2,36,280 Cumulative Redeemable Preference Shares (CRPS) of Rs. 100/- each as Bonus Shares to the existing Cumulative Redeemable Preference Shareholders of the Company in the ratio of 1:24.33 (i.e. One fully paid CRPS of Rs. 100 each for every 24.33 CRPS held) as on June 30, 2011 being the record date.
