Nifty December 2010 futures were at 5,995.15, at a premium of 10.75 points over spot closing of 5,984.40. Turnover in NSE's futures & options (F&O;) segment surged to Rs 109438.29 crore from Rs 96,661.26 crore on Tuesday, 21 December 2010.

Tata Motors December 2010 futures were at premium at 1,363.95 compared with spot closing of 1,362.

State Bank of India December 2010 futures were at premium at 2,753 compared with spot closing of 2,743.

Tata Steel December 2010 futures were near spot closing price at 673.50 compared with spot closing of 674.

In the cash market, the S&P; CNX Nifty fell 16.25 points or 0.27% to settle at 5,984.40.
