Nifty December 2010 futures were at 6,014, at a premium of 13.35 points over spot closing of 6,000.65. Turnover in NSE's futures & options (F&O;) segment declined to Rs 96,661.26 crore from Rs 100898.88 crore on Monday, 20 December 2010.

State Bank of India December 2010 futures were at premium at 2,753.65 compared with spot closing of 2,737.50.

Hindalco Industries December 2010 futures were near spot price at 233.25 compared with spot closing of 232.80.

Larsen & Toubro December 2010 futures were at premium at 1,985 compared with spot closing of 1,975.10.

In the cash market, the S&P; CNX Nifty surged 53.60 points or 0.9% to settle at 6,000.65.
