Mutual funds in selling mode

Mutual funds (MFs) sold shares worth a net Rs 37.50 crore on Tuesday, 10 February 2009, as against an inflow of Rs 62.90 crore on Monday, 9 February 2009.

MFs' net outflow of Rs 37.50 crore on 10 February 2009 was a result of gross purchases Rs 269.70 crore and gross sales Rs 307.20 crore. The BSE Sensex gained 63.58 points or 0.66% to 9,647.47 on that day.

MFs were net seller of shares worth Rs 576 crore in this month, till 6 February 2009.
