Bata India Ltd has informed the Exchange vide notes to Accounts in the Unaudited Financial Results for the Third quarter ended September 30, 2007 (taken on record by the Board of Directors of the Company at its meeting held on October 26, 2007) that : "In response to the audit qualification mentioned in Audit report, 2006 for non-compliance of "The Micro Small and Medium Enterprises Development Act, 2006", the Company has since collected the required information from suppliers and there is no liability on account of this".
