Mumbai - With majority of edible oils displaying steady tone in major centers across India, Mustard oil and groundnut oil shed length on mild selling pressure in early session Monday.
Higher import of edible oils and weak crude oil prices were keeping the prices down since last couple of weeks. While refined soyoil in Indore is managing to trade at previous settlement price, groundnut oil eroded by Rs 5 per 15 kg.
Groundnut oil in Gujarat is quoting down by Rs 5 at Rs 815 per 15 kg on mild selling pressure across major centers in Gujarat. Market participants are expecting the price to remain sideways in this week.
Refined soyoil in Indore is managing to trade at last settlement price of Rs 450-451 per 10 kg. In Mumbai also it remains steady at Rs 445 per 10 kg.
While mustard oil in Mumbai is quoting down by Rs 5 at Rs 475 per 10 kg, RBD Palmolein and Refined sunflower oil displaying steady tone to trade at Rs 336 and Rs 465 respectively per 10 kg each.
