Mutual funds (MFs) purchased shares worth a net Rs 172.10 crore on Friday, 13 February 2009, as against an outflow of Rs 202.40 crore on Thursday, 12 February 2009.
MFs' net inflow of Rs 172.10 crore on 13 February 2009 was a result of gross purchases Rs 489.50 crore and gross sales Rs 317.40 crore. The BSE Sensex gained 168.91 points or 1.78%, to 9,634.74 on that day.
MFs were net seller of shares worth Rs 703.10 crore in this month, till 13 February 2009.
