NTPC forms a subsidiary company
National Thermal Power Corporation (NTPC) has formed a subsidiary company under the name and style of Bhartiya Rail Bijlee Company on 22 November 2007 for setting up a captive power plant of 1000 MW (2X250MW) at Nabinagar, Bihar. The company shall contribute 74% equity and the balance 26% equity in the share capital of this company shall be extended by Ministry of Railways, Government of India.

The company made this announcement during the trading hours today, 22 November 2007.
