Alok Industries net profit rises 126.81% in the March 2007 quarter

Alok Industries net profit rose 126.81% to Rs 78.68 crore in the quarter ended March 2007 as against Rs 34.69 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2006.Sales rose 40.80% to Rs 574.08 crore in the quarter ended March 2007 as against Rs 407.74 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2006.

For the full year,net profit rose 60.52% to Rs 175.30 crore in the year ended March 2007 as against Rs 109.21 crore during the previous year ended March 2006.Sales rose 28.74% to Rs 1829.04 crore in the year ended March 2007 as against Rs 1420.70 crore during the previous year ended March 2006.
