Nifty futures at discount

Nifty October 2007 futures were at 5,552.20, at a discount of 7.1 points as compared to spot closing of 5,559.30.

The NSE futures & options (F&O;) segment turnover was Rs 98,395.58 crore, which was higher than Rs 90,751.74 crore on Tuesday, 16 October 2007.

Reliance Energy Limited October 2007 futures were at discount, at 1,763.10, compared to the spot closing of Rs 1,766.55.

Power Grid Corporation of India October 2007 futures were at discount, at 136.40, compared to the spot closing of Rs 136.80.

Steel Authority of India October 2007 futures were at discount, at 247.15, compared to the spot closing of Rs 247.45.

In the cash market, the S&P; CNX Nifty lost 108.75 points or 1.92% at 5,559.30.
