Assam Company allots equity shares
Assam Company has allotted 81,000,000 equity shares of Re 1 each on conversion of share warrants issued on 24 June 2006, against receipt of payment advice of the balance amount of Rs 169.29 lakhs.

The company in terms of the resolution passed on 24 December 2007 has issued and allotted 81,000,000 shares of Re 1 each at a premium of Rs 22.25 each to Invest-India (Mauritius) - 27,000,000 no of equity shares, Lotus Global Investments - 27,000,000 no of equity shares and Mavi Investment Fund - 27,000,000 no of equity shares.

The company made this announcement during the trading hours today, 26 December 2007.
