SYDNEY, March 18 (Reuters) - Australian shares were little
changed on Tuesday, weighed down by losses in resource firms
following a drop in in metal and oil prices, though financial
firms rebounded from recent hefty losses.
The benchmark S&P/ASX 200 index <.AXJO> edged down 0.8 point
to 5,086.2 by 2311 GMT, after falling 2.3 percent to its lowest
closing level since September 2006 on Monday.
