Mutual funds buying continues

Mutual funds (MFs) bought shares worth a net Rs 716 crore on Thursday, 27 December 2007, compared to their buying of Rs 742.70 crore on Wednesday, 26 December 2007.

MFs net inflow of Rs 716 crore on 27 December 2007 was a result of gross purchases of Rs 1835.50 crore and gross sales Rs 1119.50 crore. The 30-share BSE Sensex rose 24.20 points or 0.12% to 20,216.72 on that day.

MFs were net buyers of shares worth Rs 3167.50 crore in this month, till 27 December 2007.
