Mumbai - Guar seed and Guar gum futures on National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange [NCDEX] traded lower on Saturday pressurized by profit booking and speculative selling in the market.
Demat stock at the NCDEX warehouse, as of Nov.15, was 37,705 tonnes, while 1,531 tonnes were in process. For guar gum, demat stocks were at 5,849 tonnes while 100 tonnes were in process. The MCX warehouses were stacked up with 3,545 tonnes as on Nov.15.
On NCDEX, Guar seed Nov. contract traded weaker by Rs.11 at Rs.1,620 per quintal while Dec. contract slipped by Rs.13 to trade at Rs.1,664 per quintal. Volume traded for Dec. contract was noted at 23,760 tonnes.
On NCDEX, Guar gum Nov. contract slipped by Rs.10 to trade at Rs.4,090 per quintal while Dec. contact lowered by Rs.13 to trade at Rs.4,194 per quintal. Volume traded for Dec. contract was noted at 60 tonnes.
