SUMMARY- Powerful Tropical Cyclone Sidr has caused major destruction and loss
of life, not to mention severe damage to rice, sugar and other crop areas. No
significant rainfall noted in the region yesterday. Temperatures 64-94F
(18-34C).
FORECAST-
TODAY...No significant rainfall expected. Temperatures 65-96F (18-36C).
TONIGHT...Dry overnight. Patchy haze and smoke.
TOMORROW...Similar conditions to those of today.
OUTLOOK...No significant rainfall expected this period, however it will take
some time for the flooding across far eastern North India and Bangladesh to
recede. Temperatures cooler far north, warm south and west.

inch (3-10 mm), mostly dry weather elsewhere. Temperatures 79-94F (26-34C).

TODAY...A few additional scattered showers in the far south, 0.10-0.40 inch
(3-10 mm), mostly dry weather elsewhere. Temperatures 78-94F (26-34C).
TONIGHT...Showers in the far south diminish, mostly dry elsewhere overnight,
with areas of haze and smoke.
TOMORROW...Perhaps a few lingering light showers in the far south, otherwise
mostly dry. Temperatures 81-95F (27-35C).
OUTLOOK...Mostly dry. Temperatures near to perhaps slightly above normal.
INDIA RAPESEED
CROP IMPACT- Planting should be continuing. Earlier Monsoonal rainfall has
increased soil moisture supplies for the planting season.
