Nifty futures near spot price

Nifty October 2007 futures were at 5,668, at a discount of 0.05 points as compared to spot closing of 5,668.05.

The NSE futures & options (F&O;) segment turnover was Rs 90,751.74 crore, which was lower than Rs 76,830.02 crore on Monday, 15 October 2007.

Reliance Energy October 2007 futures were at premium, at 1,907.50, compared to the spot closing of Rs 1,900.85.

Power Grid October 2007 futures were at premium, at 128.85, compared to the spot closing of Rs 126.90.

Tata Power October 2007 futures were at discount, at 1,351.90, compared to the spot closing of Rs 1,365.75.

In the cash market, the S&P; CNX Nifty lost 2.35 points or 0.04% at 5,668.05.
