Mixed trend in rubber
Physical rubber prices showed a mixed mood on Saturday. Sheet rubber RSS 4 improved by 50 paise to Rs 91.50 per kg at Kottayam on weekend covering purchases while the grade was steady at Rs 91 per kg at Kochi.

December contract expired at Rs 93 (92.86) per kg on NMCE while January futures concluded the session at Rs 94.46 (94.47), February at Rs 95.90 (95.96) and March at Rs 97.41 (97.63) per kg for RSS 4. MCX January futures was at Rs 94.30 (94.41) per kg.

Spot prices were (Rs/kg): RSS-4: 91.50 (91); RSS-5: 88 (88); ungraded: 86.25 (86); ISNR 20: 87 (87) and latex 60%: 60.50 (60.50).
