SBI, Suzlon Energy May 2008 futures at discount

Nifty May 2008 futures were at 5148, at a discount of 9.70 points as compared to spot closing of 5157.70.

The NSE's futures & options (F&O;) segment turnover was Rs 37,876.68 crore, which was lower than Rs 38,196.16 crore on Thursday, 15 May 2008.

State Bank of India (SBI) May 2008 futures were at discount at 1684 compared to the spot closing of 1706.30.

Suzlon Energy May 2008 futures were at discount at 306.35 compared to the spot closing of 307.95.

Steel Authority of India May 2008 futures were at premium at 187.60 compared to the spot closing of 186.35.

In the cash market, the S&P; CNX Nifty gained 42.45 points or 0.83% at 5157.70.
