Desi chana firm in Delhi

New Delhi, Oct 09 - Desi chana prices remained firm in early trade at Lawrence road mandi here on local enquiries amidreduced arrival Tuesday.

Chana arrived from Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh-line was quoted marginally higher by Rs. 5-10 atRs. 2,380-2,385 per quintal.Trading quotesfor the Maharashtra-line chana were, however,steady in rangeRs. 2,750 to Rs. 2,900 per quintal.

Supplies dropped to20-25 trucks as against previous day arrival of 45-50 trucks.

Chana dal - average and bold varieties - were offered stable at Rs. 2,625 and Rs. 2,900 per quintal respectively.
