eastern portions of North India yesterday, 0.25-2.00+ inches (6-51+ mm) with
some flooding. No significant rainfall elsewhere. Temperatures 71-100F
(22-38C).
FORECAST-
TODAY...Showers far east early, 0.25-1.50+ inches (6-38+ mm) with some
lingering flooding. Mostly dry elsewhere. Temperatures 72-99F (22-37C).
TONIGHT...Showers diminishing in the far east overnight. Patchy haze and
smoke.
TOMORROW...A few scattered showers far east, 0.10-0.50 inch (3-13 mm). Mostly
dry elsewhere. Temperatures 74-97F (23-36C).
OUTLOOK...A few widely scattered showers and thundershowers in extreme
eastern areas this period. Dry elsewhere. Temperatures cooler far north, warm
south and west.

CROP IMPACT- Mostly favorable soil moisture conditions for the developing crop
in the major west-central growing areas of India, although it has turned hotter
now that the Monsoon rain has retreated.
