northern India over the weekend (with mountain snow), a few showers in central
and southern areas as well, 0.25 inch (6 mm) or less. Temperatures 52-88F
(11-31C).
FORECAST-
TODAY...A few widely scattered showers lingering in central and southern
areas, 0.20 inch (5 mm) or less, drier elsewhere. Temperatures 49-88F (9-31C).
TONIGHT...Becoming mostly dry overnight. Patchy haze and smoke.
TOMORROW...Mostly dry. Temperatures 50-87F (10-31C).
OUTLOOK...A few showers in far northern Pakistan/northern India (mountain
snow), no significant rainfall elsewhere this elsewhere this period.
Temperatures a bit cooler.
INDIA POTATO - North and central India
CROP IMPACT: Much of this region has had normal to above normal Monsoon rains.
This will provide favorable soil moisture and irrigation for the crop. However,
some local areas may be too dry. Temperatures have turned hot since the monsoon
rains tapered off.
