INDIA GROUNDNUTS
CROP IMPACT: Rains during the Monsoon season through most major groundnut
areas of India supplied adequate to surplus moisture and irrigation for the
Kharif crop. Wet weather may have delayed the early harvest effort for this
crop but conditions have improved more recently. Soil moisture and irrigation
should favor development of the Rabi crop.
