Soyabean futures settles higher

Soyabean futures traded on the Dalian commodity Exchange ended higher on Friday on a technical rebound but may resume their downtrend after consolidation.

The benchmark January 2008 soyabean contract was up by CNY17 to close at CNY3299 per tonne while January 2008 soyameal contract was closed at CNY2560 per tonne.The September 2007 soya oil contract went up by CNY84 to close at CNY7672 per tonne.
