SEOUL, Nov 20 (Reuters) - Seoul shares extended early gains
to be down more than 3 percent midmorning on Tuesday as
financials such as Kookmin Bank <060000.KS> were hit by a
downgrade of Citigroup Inc, which fanned credit crunch worries.
The benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index (KOSPI)
<.KS11> dropped 3.13 percent to 1,834.18 points by 0120 GMT, its
lowest since Sept. 13.
Kookmin, South Korea's top bank, fell 4.25 percent to 65,300
won.
