JM Financial MF unveils FMF- Series XII Quarterly Plan 3
JM Financial Mutual Fund has launched JM Fixed Maturity Fund - Series XII Quarterly Plan 3 on 11 September 2008. The new issue will be closed for the subscription on 17 September 2008. The NFO price for the fund is Rs 10 per unit. It is a close-ended income scheme. Duration of the scheme will be 3 months from the date of allotment of units.

It is a close-ended income scheme comprising various plans seeking to generate regular returns through investments in fixed income securities normally maturing in line with the time profile of the respective plans.

The scheme offers two plans viz. regular and institutional plan, which will have two sub-options of growth and dividend options.

The minimum investment amount under regular plan is Rs 5,000 and under institutional plan, it is Rs 5 lakh and in multiples of any amount thereafter.

The Mutual Fund seeks to raise a minimum subscription amount of Rs. 1 crore during its New Fund Offer period.

The fund will not charge any entry load as the scheme is of close-ended nature. The scheme carries an exit load of 1% if the investment is redeemed during the specified redemption period and will charge exit load of 2.00% if redeemed on all business days other than specified redemption period.

Quarterly plan will have specified redemption period, which will normally be the first five business days at the beginning of every calendar month during the tenure of that plan. During the specified redemption days during the specified redemption period, unit holders can redeem their investments at the applicable NAV subject to exit load. Investors can also redeem on business days other than the specified redemption period at the applicable load.

The scheme will invest up to 65-100% in short term debt securities and money market instruments. It will invest up to 0-35% in government securities. The investment in securitised debt securities will not exceed 80%.

The Benchmark Index for the scheme is CRISIL Liquid Fund Index.

Shalini Tibrewala will be the fund manager for the scheme.
