INDIA JEERA (CUMIN) - Rajasthan and Gujarat
Sown in November-December, harvested around March. High humidity during
flowering and fruit-set stage causes diseases.
CROP IMPACT: Scattered showers and thundershowers have been reported in the
region during the past couple of weeks. The Monsoon rain came in early. Rains
could delay the late harvest of the old crop but it will also build moisture
and irrigation for the next crop planted later this year.
