Maharashtra-line chana drops in Delhi

New Delhi, Oct 31 - Maharashtra-line desi chana along with processed chana werepriced lower in early trade at Lawrence road market here Wednesday. Local traders saidsluggish buying support weighed on prices.

Maharashtra-line chana slipped down further by Rs. 50 toRs. 2,600-Rs. 2,700/quintal.But supplies from Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh were steady atRs. 2,250-Rs. 2,350/quintal.Arrival was regular at around 35-40 trucks.

Poor demandalsopressurized chana dal prices down in range Rs. 2,600-Rs. 2,750/quintal.
