Bharat Heavy Electricals net profit declines 3.43% in the March 2008 quarter
Net profit of Bharat Heavy Electricals declined 3.43% to Rs 1110.87 crore in the quarter ended March 2008 as against Rs 1150.37 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2007. Sales rose 4.08% to Rs 7202.04 crore in the quarter ended March 2008 as against Rs 6919.68 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2007.

For the full year,net profit rose 18.41% to Rs 2859.34 crore in the yearended March 2008 as against Rs 2414.70 crore during the previous year ended March 2007. Sales rose 12.34% to Rs 19365.46 crore in the year ended March 2008 as against Rs 17237.53 crore during the previous year ended March 2007.
