KUALA LUMPUR, July 22 (Reuters) - The following factors are
likely to influence Malaysian palm oil futures on Tuesday.
IMPROVING MALAYSIAN PALM OIL SHIPMENTS
-- Exports of Malaysian palm oil products for July 1-20 rose
11.3 percent to 834,317 tonnes from 749,776 tonnes shipped
between June 1 and 20, cargo surveyor Intertek Testing Services
said on Monday. [ID:nKLR232918]
Another cargo surveyor, Societe Generale de Surveillance,
reported an increases of 5.3 percent to 794,768 tonnes.

CRUDE OIL
-- Oil rose on Monday as Tropical Storm Dolly barreled into
the Gulf of Mexico, stoking concerns of disruptions to U.S.
offshore oil and gas production. [ID:nSYD253567]
U.S. crude <CLc1> settled up $2.16 at $131.04 a barrel after
concerns about U.S. demand knocked prices from record highs over
$147 a barrel.
CBOT SOY COMPLEX
-- U.S. soy futures fell over 3-½ percent on Monday on
pressure from good crop weather in the U.S. and last week's news
that Argentina was scrapping a tax hike on soy exports, traders
said. [ID:nN18280272]
Soyoil closed down 1.90 to 2.27 cents per lb, with August
<BOQ8> down 2.18 at 59.91 cents per lb.
CHINESE VEGOIL MARKETS
Chinese palm <0#DCP:> and soyoil <0#DBY:> futures plummetted
by their 5 percent daily trading limit on Monday morning, as an
international sell-off combined with weak domestic demand.

MALAYSIAN PALM OIL
-- Malaysian crude palm oil futures dived 5.7 percent on
Monday to a near four-month low as crude oil's steepest ever one
week slide last week battered vegetable oil markets from the
United States to China. [ID:nKLR43853]
The benchmark October palm oil contract <KPOc3> on the Bursa
Malaysia Derivatives Exchange fell as much as 195 ringgit to
3,197 ringgit ($985.8), a level unseen since April 2. At the
close, it was down 132 ringgit at 3,260 ringgit.
