SYDNEY, April 24 (Reuters) - Australian shares fell 0.9
percent on Thursday, as nagging worries about the health of the
financial sector weighed on banks, while falls in metal prices
pressured mining firms.
The benchmark S&P/ASX 200 index <.AXJO> shed 52.3 points to
5,600.6 by 0011 GMT, after rising 1.6 percent to a two-month
closing high in the previous session.
