Sept 4 (Reuters) - India's wholesale price index <INWPI=ECI>
rose 12.34 percent in the 12 months to Aug. 23, below the
previous week's annual rise of 12.40 percent due to lower prices
of some foods, government data showed.
The rate was below a median forecast of 12.44 percent in a
Reuters poll of analysts.
