INDIA PEPPER - South India
Flowers during May and June, harvested November to January. The crop needs well
distributed rain and high temperatures.
CROP IMPACT: Late season rainfall may have impacted the early harvest period
for this crop during November and early December. However, it had been drier
and warmer since then. This should favor the continuing harvest activities.
Showers returned to the region early in February but the past few weeks have
been drier again. There are no significant concerns at this time.
