Malaysian crude palm oil declined slightly on Friday.January contract settled down 10 ringgit at 2990 ringgit ($902) per tonne, after going as low as 2970 ringgit. Other traded months fell between 9 and 15 ringgit, except for the spot contract, which was up 9 ringgit. Overall trade halved to 6884 lots of 25 tonnes compared with 12000 lots that change hands on a routine day.
