Nagpur, Mar 29 (Reuters) Soya oil prices tumbled in the Vidarbha region of 
Western Mahasrashtra on account of ample supply against slackness in demand. 
Sharp fall in American soya digam prices, increased arrivals from producing 
belts amid fall in demand mainly pulled down prices. Subdued trend on Madhya 
Pradesh oil market also affected sentiment in buyerless market, sources said 
Saturday.

    VIDARBHA MARKETS 
    OILS 
     * Soya and Cottonseed oil nosedived in Vidarbha on lack of demand from 
       local traders. Fresh fall in Madhya Pradesh soya oil also affected 
       sentiment. Reports about good overseas oil arrival also affected prices. 
     * Groundnut loose, Sunflower refined, Linseed and Rapeseed oil reported 
       sharp fall in Vidarbha on lack of buying support from local 
       traders amid good arrival from producing belts and profit-taking selling 
       by stockists at higher level. 
     * Groundnut refined, Castor and Coconut KP oil ruled steady in thin 
       trading activity. 
     * Traders expect further fall in Soya and Cottonseed oil in Vidarbha. 
    SOYMEAL 
    * Prices ruled steady but demand was poor in thin trading activity. 
    SOYABEAN 
    * Soybean prices in the Nagpur Agriculture Produce and Marketing Committee 
      (APMC) showed weak tendency on lack of buying support from local crushing 
      plants. Sharp fall in Soya oil, no takers to soymeal and easy condition 
      on Madhya Pradesh soya mandi also pushed down prices. Trading activity 
      was reported thin as farmers were reluctant to sell it low prices, 
      affecting arrival. 
    * About 1,500 bags reported for auction in major soya mandi in Vidarbha, 
      sources said Saturday.
