Nifty futures at discount

Nifty October 2007 futures were at 5466, at a discount of 30.15 points as compared to spot closing of 5496.15. The October derivative contracts will expire tomorrow, 25 October 2007.

The NSE futures & options (F&O;) segment turnover was Rs 1, 07,495.25 crore, which was higher than Rs 97,393.15 crore on Tuesday, 23 October 2007.

Reliance Energy October 2007 futures were at discount, at 1647, compared to the spot closing of Rs 1655.70.

State Bank of India October 2007 futures were at premium, at 1910, compared to the spot closing of Rs 1909.65.

Cairn India October 2007 futures were at premium, at 205.20, compared to the spot closing of Rs 204.65.

In the cash market, the S&P; CNX Nifty gained 22.45 points or 0.41% at 5496.15.
