Nifty futures remain at premium

Nifty October 2007 futures were at 5,461.05, at a premium of 32.8 points as compared to spot closing of 5,428.25.

The NSE futures & options (F&O;) segment turnover was Rs 90,419.66 crore, which was higher than Rs 72,261.05 crore on Thursday, 11 October 2007.

Reliance Industries October 2007 futures settled at premium, at 2,586.50, compared to the spot closing of Rs 2,565.75.

Tata Steel October 2007 futures settled at premium, at 857.10, compared to the spot closing of Rs 850.35.

Tata Power October 2007 futures settled at premium, at 1,052, compared to the spot closing of Rs 1,049.60.

In the cash market, the S&P; CNX Nifty lost 96.6 points or 1.75% at 5,428.25.
