INDIA SUNFLOWER
CROP IMPACT: Major sunflower areas of Maharashtra have adequate to surplus soil
moisture and irrigation after above normal Monsoon rainfall in the area. A
recent turn to drier weather will favor the maturing crop.
The Andhra Pradesh sunflower areas have had above average Monsoon rains,
favoring this crop.
Tamil Nadu sunflower areas could still benefit from late season Monsoon
