BASIS OF ALLOTMENT

PUBLIC ISSUE OF 50,00,000 EQUITY SHARES OF FACE VALUE OF RS. 10/- EACH ISSUED FOR CASH AT A PREMIUM OF Rs. 2/- PER SHARE AGGREGATING TO Rs. 600.00 LAKHS (HEREINAFTER REFFERE0 TO AS THE 'ISSUE') BY ALLIED COMPUTERS INTERNATIONAL (ASIA) LIMITED (THE 'COMPANY' OR 'ISSUER'). THE ISSUE PRICE OF RS.12/- PER EQUITY SHARE IS 1.2 TIMES OF THE FACE VALUE.

The issue made in terms of clause 2.2.2 (a) (ii) and b (i) of SEBI (DIP) Guidelines, 2000 as amended from time to time, wherein the "Project" has at least 15% participation by Financial Institutions / Scheduled Commercial Banks, ot which at least 10% comes from the appraisers), in addition to this, at least 10% of the issue size shall be allotted to QIBs, failing which the full subscription monies shall be refunded.
The Board of Directors thanks the investing public for their overwhelming response to the Public issue, which opened for subscription on October 19, 2007 and closed on October 23, 2007. The company received 18,747 gross applications tor 15,45,66,500 equity shares (including applications from QIB) resulting in 30.91 times subscription out of which 299 applications for 1367000 shares have been rejected on technical grounds and a total of 18448 valid applications for 15,31,99,500 shares are considered. The details of the valid applications received in the Issue from Retail, Non Institutional Investor and Qualified Institutional Investor are as under

The shares arrived in respect of HNI [36%] and Retail [64%] categories are based on the proportionate shares subscribed In the Net issue to the Public Portion.
As required under the Listing Agreement, the Basis of Allotment was finalized in consultation with The Bombay Stock Exchange Limited on November 16, 2007.

The Basis of Allocation to the Qualified Institutional Buyers was finalized in consultation with BSE. The category was subscribed 7.00 times. The total number of shares allotted in this category is 5,00,000 Equity Shares. The categorywise details of the Basis of Allocation are as under:

The Directors of the Company at It's Meeting held at Mumbai on November 17, 2007 has approved the basis of allocation. The Refund Orders has been dispatched on November 19, 2007 to the address of the investors as registered with the depositories. In case the same is not received within ten days, investors may contact at the address given below. The Refund Orders have been printed with the Bank Mandate details as registered, if any, with the depositories. The shares allocated to successful applicants has been credited to their beneficiary accounts subject to validation of the account details with the depositories concerned. The company has taken steps to get the equity shares admitted for trading on Bombay Stock Exchange Limited for which the company has received listing approval from BSE on November 22, 2007 and the trading is commencing from November 23, 2007.
